Who wants to go see the new Indiana Jones movie? *FLAILS* I spent eight hours of my Sunday watching the first three on SciFi. I haven't seen them in a while, and really, what else is there to do on a Sunday?

And, has anyone heard that M. Night Shyamalan will be making a live action version of Avatar the Last Airbender? OK, seriously, dude! I love his movies. But I honestly don't think he can pull this off and make it good. It's just not his style. He'll RUIN it!

The Weston episode of Ghost Hunters aired last night. So I had to drop the absolutely nothing that I was doing and watch it. Watched the one before it too, and I just love how people are fucking idiots. Anyway, Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. Awesome. Now I really REALLY want to get in there for photography/exploration purposes. B and I were discussing the possibilities while watching the show and both deciding that, yes, the place really is as awesome as it looks.

I'm supposed to be writing a paper for seminar. It's due in about an hour, so I dragged my laptop to the library because it seems that I can't get any work done in my room. But instead of writing my paper, I'm doing this and checking out blogs. Worst work ethic ever. Did I mention it's a fucking sauna in the library? I could be doing this in my own room, where there's an air conditioner.

That's really it for now. I felt like complaining a bit.

Oh, and randomness: They have archery here. Heather's taking it. Had I known that, I would have taken that instead of tennis. Too late now. Sigh.

So... I'm having a bit on a conundrum here. Basically, I don't get people. At all. Especially those overly emotional people who attach themselves to someone and won't let go.

See, there's this person. I don't mind hanging out with her, really. I actually like hanging out with her. But lately her roommate, AKA best friend has been hanging out with her boyfriend all the time. Which leaves her out. So I've been hanging out with her a lot. And she complains, which is OK, because I'm better at listening than talking anyway. But it gets a bit annoying after a while of hearing the same thing over and over and over again.

I get that she's upset. I would be upset too. But I don't see why she can't get over it. Maybe I'm lacking in the whole "best friends" area, because I don't get attached and I can't understand. I can't wrap my brain around this whole "I don't want to be abandoned" thing. Dude! I'm used to being abandoned. I can't help you with your problem because I don't see it as all that much of a problem. And I can't just tell her to suck it up and move on just because that's what I would do. It's not like I'm completely anti-social or something. I have friends, and I could still let them go. Why is this so hard on her?

Then I feel bad because she's always saying how she's alone and she doesn't like being alone, which I also can't get. I'm really REALLY confused at the moment. This whole emotions thing... It takes stuff like this to realize that I'm not normal at all.

So, there's this place in Weston, called Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. Mell actually lives in Weston, and yet she completely failed to mention this place. Not that I would try to break in, completely for photograph/exploration purposes. Nope. Not me. Never!

Anyway, last Tuesday, B IM'd me, freaking out that Ghost Hunters was filming there, and asked if I wanted to go along. So yeah. We went.

We stood around outside the gates until three in the morning talking to the security guards. And some random old guy that just happened to be walking by at midnight. He works at Dominoes and used to be a tour guide at the asylum. He also does civil war reenactments and knows everything there is to know about West Virginia history.

Apparently Steve is terrified of heights, so he drove ahead while everyone else flew, so he was the only one there. So they were just filming the outside of the building and the drive up. We were just waiting out there So at three, I ended up riding back with B, Heather, and Joe. B and Heather fell asleep. So I kept Joe company. Damn me for not being able to sleep in moving vehicles!

Random facts: This place is the biggest place they've filmed at. And, sandstone records sound. I'm highly doubting the validity of this. I spent a good portion of last night researching sandstone. Found absolutely nothing about it being able to record sound. But according to Mr. Dominoes, that's why you can hear people screaming when you go into the building. The whole thing is supposedly made of sandstone, and when it gets to the right temperature, it plays back sound. Huh.

And, on Friday, Heather went back, and I guess the guys were freaked that there were fans at the filming. Dude, it's Weston!

Huh. So, I went missing. For a very, very long time. Or maybe about two weeks. But still, in Lisa Years, two weeks is F-O-R-E-V-E-R.

I'm getting my paid account back. I miss my 30 icons. Sniff. It's sad, all I use the paid account for is the icons.

Speaking of the LJ, I'm still deciding if it's going to be friends only or not. Hard decision, there. And I'm still trying to make a new layout. Also a hard decision. I think I want to keep my background. It's cute.

Is anyone else bored? I'm bored. I mean, really, REALLY bored. It's 1:30 and I'm wide awake. It sucks. Insomnia sucks, but bored insomnia is the worst.

I'm working on a new layout. Let me just say this: It's predominantly pink. Ugh. Yet somehow it really fits. It has a black background though, so that balances it out a bit. And I still haven't decided on the picture yet. It can't be Supernatural. The pink and everything. I'm thinking Ouran High School Host Club, or some random stock photography of something cudly.

Maybe Elfen Lied, but it would have to be a fluffy happy moment with Nyu or Nana.

OK, maybe it's just the knowledge that the new episodes are winding down, but does anyone else think these episodes just get better every week?

So, who loves the new icon? I made it a few days ago from the promo. That one split second was damn near impossible to get. I have slow reflexes or something.

Who else will be absolutely devastated if the Patriots win? OK, I won't really be devastated. I'll just be upset.

OK. So. This episode was AWESOME! And here I thought it couldn't get better than BDABR. I honestly have nothing coherent to say.

And! The title kept bugging me. I saw it a couple days ago and I'm like Hmm... Looks familiar. Then I found some site. http://www.malleusmaleficarum.org/. And it had the whole "which hammer" thing, which sounded even more familiar. And just today it hit me. AFI! Black Sails in the Sunset! It was on the boards, where people were giving their theories on the lyrics, and someone mentioned that the title meant which hammer, and what could that mean for the song? Needless to say, I've been listening to Black Sails all day. I haven't listened to that CD in forever.
